NEXT CLASSES: September 25 & 26, 2026.

Couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony attend a two day program. They participate in presentations, discussions, and prayerful reflection on Marriage and Family Life. The group offers two sessions a year, usually in late September and late January.

Congratulations on your engagement! We are happy to assist you with scheduling you for Pre-Cana. Deacon Tom Phillips and his team run a wonderful Pre-Cana program. Sessions meet in the Parish Ministry Center Hall. On Fridays, we welcome our couples to attend the session dressed casually from 7:30-9:00 p.m. for a meet and greet and presentation. On Saturday, couples arrive around 8:15 a.m. for a continental breakfast with Dunkin Donuts and coffee. There are sessions and breaks throughout the day. At 4:00 p.m. there is a time for questions and answers and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. All couples attend our 
5:00 p.m. Mass together and receive a blessing and a Pre-Cana certificate of completion. Please dress accordingly for Mass. If you are being married at St. Teresa of Calcutta, you can keep the certificate and add it to your wedding album if you wish. If you are being married by clergy elsewhere, you need to give them your certificate.

 The cost of the class is the cost is $200 per couple for non-parishioners and $150 per couple for parishioners. Below are the payment options. Once payment is received, you will receive a notification email from the Parish Office. If paying online, know that it takes several days for the system to send our business manager notification. 
Online Pre-Cana Payment
·         On the home page, go to Links and click Parish Giving
·         3 choices:  Sign in if you already have an account, create an account, or Give as a Guest
·         Follow directions as requested depending on your above choice
·         Click Parish Collections
·         Select Pre-Cana
·         Input required amount and bride and groom's names in the memo section
·         Continue to follow directions through to completion
Check Pre-Cana Payment
·         Make check payable to “STC”; send to or drop off at the Parish Office. Checks can also  
          be placed in an envelope marked Pre-Cana and placed in the collection basket. 
·         Write bride and groom's last names on the memo line
 You are not registered for the classes until payment is received and an email notification from the Parish Office.
