Are you thinking about becoming Catholic or ever wondered what you must do to become Catholic as an adult? Perhaps you were never baptized or you were baptized in another Christian faith. Have you received all of your Catholic Sacraments of Baptism, Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation? Many have learned our faith as children, but we never learned how to apply what we’ve learned into our adult life. Our Christian Initiation team can help, we’re here for you! It’s never too late to ‘catch up’ and receive sacraments, or just learn more about your faith. For additional information/registration, please contact Deacon Lou Hoelzle at [email protected] or (215) 882-4136 or contact Shawn Marie Brown, Director of Parish Services at [email protected] or (610) 287-2525 ext. 100. Our classes meet on Sunday mornings in the Parish Ministry Center from 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM. There are no fees for this journey of faith class. Jesus’ Own Teachings
A mystic named Luisa Piccarreta 1865-1947 wrote many pages that were given to her by Jesus himself in a period of 40 years. These writings are completely approved by the Catholic Church. Luisa’s Spiritual Director was canonized in 2005 and his statue stands outside the Vatican.
In Luisa’s writings, Jesus explains His teachings about the Virtues and the Sacraments in His own words. He tells us how to grow closer to our eternal reward by teaching us new methods of praise and prayer that will draw us closer to God. To study and learn these readings, a group will meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month in the Ministry center from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
If you are interested in learning more about “Living in the Will of God”, please email [email protected]
As a new season approaches we invite all Seniors to join us and meet with others of the parish at our first meeting on Tuesday, October 14th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Parish Ministry Center Hall. Bring lunch. Everyone is invited to join us at Arcadia Independent Living on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM for BINGO!
